Join us on Tuesday, March 8th for an inspiring evening!

ARA Chicago’s next event will be a Career and Mentorship Forum —a speed mentoring event— on Tuesday, March 8th, 2016, from 5:30 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. A special thank you to ContextMedia for opening their doors for such a fantastic event!

ContextMedia is located at: 330 N Wabash Ave, Suite 2500, Chicago, IL 60611

The criteria for participation follows:

Mentees: We are seeking IT practitioners and leaders with 3+ years corporate IT experience, or 3+ years of experience in roles supporting technology (i.e. QA/BA/development, etc.) and/or from a technology software/professional services firm (i.e., Marketing, Sales and HR), who aspire for continued career advancement.

Mentors: We are seeking women and men in senior IT leadership roles (i.e., CIO, CTO, Vice President, Director), and those which touch technology and/or from a technology software/professional services firm (i.e., CMO, Vice President/Director of Marketing and/or Sales, VP of HR), who are willing to serve as a resource to ARA and mentees during this event.

This event will be limited to 70 attendees (35 mentors and 35 mentees), on a first-come, first-serve basis. Since space is limited, please only register if you can commit to attending on March 8th. Please indicate on your ticket if you want to be considered for a mentor or mentee role (or both if we happen to have a shortage in one area).

Format: From 6:15 -7:45 p.m., each attendee will network and meet with up to four different people in a rotating fashion (every X minutes we’ll rotate to ensure you meet plenty of people and have engaging one-on-one conversations); mentees can come prepared with questions to ask, although we’ll have prepared conversation starters to help; expect to walk away inspired and connected with wonderful contacts in Chicago; and if interested in a more formal mentoring relationship, you can sign up on ARA’s website post event; here’s a photo recap from a past speed mentoring event

Cost: $20.00
